It looked like he was maybe choking, so I put him on my forearm, and I administered a couple of back blows to him when I felt some saliva and vomit fall onto my arm.”That got the boy breathing again.“Watching it now, it’s kind of overwhelming, but in the moment there’s really not much thought other than relying on the training,” Fra...

(The Hill) – The actors' union, which is already striking amid a labor disagreement with Hollywood movie studios, called for a second strike authorization on Friday for video game actors.“Here we go again! Now our Interactive (Video Game) Agreement is at a stalemate too. Once again we are facing employer greed and disrespect,” SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher said in a statement posted on the organization's website. The union is seeking similar terms to its Hollywood contract, including higher wages and protections from artificial intelligence technologies that some fear will take jobs away in the industry. Here’s what you need to know about the student loan on-ramp, the consequences and alternatives. How does the on-ramp work? The on-ramp will run from Oct. 1, 2023, to Sept. 30, 2024.
