Two Pronounced Dead after Speeding Auto Collision near Ruth AvenuePHOENIX, AZ (December 19, 2023) – Thomas Oviatt and Janette Oviatt died Wednesday afternoon in a speeding crash on 43rd and Dunlap Avenue.At approximately 2:30 p.m. on December 13th, law enforcement responded to an incident near Ruth Avenue.According to reports, 80-year-old Thomas was driving a vehicle with 79-year-old Janette as a passenger. (KRON) -- A vehicle was found submerged in Lake Merritt Tuesday morning, according to the Oakland Police Department. OPD's Communications Division got a call just before 5:45 a.m. Tuesday reporting a vehicle in the lake.Officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Lakeshore Avenue to investigate, police said.
